Information and non-medical support for seniors and their caregivers

Better at Home helps seniors with non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.

direct services offered:

  • Information/referrals to other community based senior services
  • Light housekeeping (paid on a sliding scale based on income)
  • BC Farmers Market Nutritional Coupon Program

volunteer services, subject to availability:

  • Odd jobs/errands
  • Transportation to shopping and medical appointments
  • Grocery shopping assistance
  • Prepared food delivery
  • Light yard work
  • Snow shoveling
  • Minor home repairs
  • Social Connections (telephone, virtual, face-to-face, individual or small groups)
  • 50+ Angel Tree Christmas Project
