Saving food from the landfill, 364 days/year, and distributing it to those who need it

Since June 2019, we have been rescuing perfectly good food destined for landfills, ensuring it reaches individuals and community groups in need. CCS is committed to combatting climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from landfill-bound organics. When we save food, we make best use of the energy invested in its production, especially important amidst rising food prices and food insecurity.
