Supportive Housing @ Cozy Bear
Thirty supportive homes for older adults and vulnerable seniors.
We are working together with BC Housing to create 30 homes with support services at 621 Cranbrook Street North, now named Cozy Bear Lodge. These homes will be for local seniors and adults who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
This site will require renovations. Renovations will begin in 2025. We currently expect this housing to open in Winter 2025/2026.
Supportive housing is for adults who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and need supports to maintain their housing. People living in supportive housing can be adults, seniors, people with disabilities, or anyone who has experienced trauma, poverty, or struggled with the high cost of housing. Supportive housing typically includes services such as meals and referrals to health and community supports. Many also provide culturally informed services.
