Better at Home helps seniors with non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.
direct services offered:
- Information/referrals to other community based senior services
- Light housekeeping (paid on a sliding scale based on income)
- BC Farmers Market Nutritional Coupon Program
volunteer services, subject to availability:
- Odd jobs/errands
- Transportation to shopping and medical appointments
- Grocery shopping assistance
- Prepared food delivery
- Light yard work
- Snow shoveling
- Minor home repairs
- Social Connections (telephone, virtual, face-to-face, individual or small groups)
- 50+ Angel Tree Christmas Project
