Aboriginal Early Years

Weekly drop-in group for families with children 0 – 6 years old. These sessions allow children to socialize, play and learn. These groups are facilitated by Early Years Workers who connect with parents and little ones that need more assistance. The Early Years Workers funnel families into programs or services they might need, connect them with resources or set up more one-on-one time. These sessions also have Ktunaxa cultural and language teachings built in. At every session a hot meal, built from scratch is served. Families can take home leftovers and learn more about nutrition, meal planning and grocery shopping.
